This little guy along the Rock Island Trail wanted to get the jump on Fall. I've been passing him every day on the morning commute and have been meaning to get a pic. Just so happens a swath of sunlight creeps through about 7:30 every morning lighting him up amongst his fellow trees. Probably knows he's in the spotlight.

There's always a showoff

Beautiful - and kind of depressing. I love fall - but winter, not so much.
Theres a big one on s.48th past pioneers...bright red.
Are the leaves still on that little tree today (Monday), after the winds we have been having? Beautiful, by the way.
