I haven't been on the bike since last week. I have a pinched nerve in my upper back. I fell asleep watching TV last Friday night with my neck in an awkward position. The last few days have not been fun. I've since learned that pinched nerves are painful and lead to numbness. In my case the numbess runs down my right arm and into my thumb. The pain has since subsided a little, but the numbness is still there. Until it comes back, I'll be laying low -- and driving.

Pinched nerves are really annoying. Just takes time.
Can you 4 and 20?
Aw. Sorry, Kew. I was just telling BobK. the other night that I hadn't seen you on your bike in awhile. Hope you heal up fast. That stinks. Maybe try a heating pad?
Adrian -- have you had one of these? The pain has gone down, but I can't get feeling back into my arm/thumb. Does this come back over time?
Trying to decide if I need to go back to the doctor or just be more patient.
Gravy: I haven't tried, but I doubt I can feel the strings.
I have had a pinched nerve in my shoulder. I could feel it down to my hand but never numbness. I would have it checked out.
That sucks. Don't you hate it when your car, computer, or body doesn't work like it's supposed to?
Are you all better, kew?
Nope. The pain has improved during the day, but sleeping is not going well. It gets real sore at night -- like wake-up-from-sleep-and-have to-move-to-the-coach sore.
It may even be a slipped disc in my neck. Either way, it's raining on my parade.
