Would you f@cking knock that off!

So what offends you as a cyclist? Feel free to share your cycling pet peeves so that when I'm riding with you this year I will not annoy you. Or, I can piss you off, if I fill the need.

Kevin-i don't like it when you try and kick me onto oncoming traffic.

ahh -- duly noted. I thought I only did that to Bob last year.

Pet peeve: dropping your water bottle while trying to put it back into the cage, forcing riders behind into evasive action. Oh wait -- that was me last year... never mind.

I did the water bottle thing as well - last spring on a Saturday morning group ride. Some guys from the Lincoln Plating team rode into Cortland about 10 minutes after us - and brought me my bottle. Verrry embarrasing.

How about those guys who just noodle at the back of the group and never take a pull? Oops, that would be me again.

Another one: Running over people after they crash -- right Bob?

;)

One of the problems with staying at the back - if there is a crash, it is bound to be in front of you.

One other thing - Bob - when you take a wizz...shoot away from the riders going by.

Taking any route that includes the shoulderless road that runs north/south into Hickman. That is a two-mile death wish.

Stopping for a five-course meal 10 miles into a 40-mile ride.

Trying to hit two groups of cyclists with your red pickup because you're running late to church.

(I got a lot of grievances)

Actually, Adrian, I never pee during a ride - I'm usually too dehydrated because I dropped my water bottles early in the ride.

Winds that change direction during your ride - like yesterday afternoon. I left heading south on 77, and then Roca Road towards Crete into a SW wind, which switched to a north wind on the way back. It was cold. I suffered. But it was better than riding the trainer in the basement.

The term "wizz" made me laugh though!

OK, what about someone talking to you and ~~swerving~~ into you because they turned their head instead of looking straight while talking?

Alright, that was me. Sorry.

Thanks for that one Nicol. How about when you are on deck to pull but the person that just got up there splits in 30 seconds to "go home"?

Or instead of hearing "On your left" on the trail -- you hear "It's me!" as a cue to get over.

Sound familiar, Nicole?

hee hee

(I always remember that for some reason)

Or how about the weather guy saying "no wind today" - you get out and winds are at 50mph? oops off track.
