Yeah, those Critical Mass riders sometimes cause more problems for everyday cyclists than they solve.
That said, the nteresting thing is, the cop filed a report in which he states that the cyclist intentionally veered into him, knocked him off his feet, and injured him.

I've seen that video -- I'm sure the dude on the bike did something uncool, but whatever it was it didn't deserve that kind of beat down.
As slow as the cyclist was going, he could've been stopped/detained pretty easily without that kind of force.
