I broke out the old Schwinn. A little air in the tires and it was ready to ride. That bike will outlive me.
Here.New look and everything.
About time Tinkerbell!
Da term: you avoided the roll call -- am I to assume you wimped out today?Gravy: what does "new look" mean? Shaved head? miniskirt and high heels? Tricycle? Unicycle?
I take it you were waiting for the windiest day in January to whip the Schwinn into shape, Kew? Old bikes are the best.
Nicol: I purchased studded snow tires last week, so now I have no excuse to avoid any weather. At least, according to the wifey.I've got the studs on the cross bike when needed. If no ice, then it's the old tank.
My Chrome got yoinked on Friday. New ugly bag should deter further sticky fingers.
Stolen? :( I loved that bag...But, I didn't "yoink" it, I swear.Kew: How do you like the studded tires or have you tried 'em yet?
Nicol: The studded tires are terrific on ice or packed snow. The first morning I had them, the entire ride was icy, but I had no problem riding. I wouldn't have ridden if not for those tires. I haven't ridden on them since, though, since it's been dry.Gravy: that is terrible about your Chrome. Some people really suck.
