Old hermit crab says sorry

I was a grumpy gravy all day.

I let my flighty-ness get the best of me and just headed home.

I'm old and stuck in my gravy ways, and when things go unplanned I get reclusive.

eh -- no biggie, Gravy. It was gettin' late anyway.

Yeah, I was wondering where you guys went - Kelly and I turned around to look for you at Browning Street, and you were gone. We just ended up going home. Probably healthier than burgers and chalices anyway.

Grumpy Gravy - is that better or worse than lumpy gravy?

Game time decision.

I can't make it -- I've got birthday shopping duties for the little one. Go hard on the intervals.

Adrian, I'm going to the Oven with the wife tonight - but thanks for the email.

More info desired:

I want to do this Thursday ride sometime - can I make it with 700x28 road tires on a Trek 7200 hybrid (that's what my wife is riding, and I would need to borrow her bike), or should I put beefier tires on the bike, or should I just wait until I have a decent off-road bike?

It's basically a mopac type ride, so whatever you are comfortable riding... unless someone specifies something different well-beforehand...

Or everyone agrees to change the route when meeting...

Or you organize the event...

Or willy-nilly takes over with all his jibber-jabbering. (Mike Rozier reference.)

Sounds good - I am comfortable with that setup on crushed limestone, but not so much riding over tree roots on single track in Wilderness Park.

Mike Rozier reference - nice. I lived next door to him and his brother in college, but I never heard that one - care to supply the context behind your reference?

On the pay-per-view, the reporter was asking him what he thought of Irving Fryar supporting Western Michigan... with Irving's son playing for the Broncos...

Mike Rozier said Irving was all jibber-jabber and that the Huskers were playing, "One sorry team."

Ha! Sounds like Mike.
